Strawberry & Rhubarb chilled sake and Apple & Cinnamon warm sake
Never underestimate the power and creativity that sake can bring to the cocktail world. And, never underestimate the alcoholic power of sake. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford St, this little Japanese bar and restaurant is a great “catch up over a drink” bar with great otsumami (Japanese tapa styled dishes) and creative sake liquid dinners to match.
We chit chat over a jug of chilled Strawberry and Rhubarb sake and warm Apple and Cinnamon sake, and I immediately decide that my favourite is definitely the latter. The strawberry sake was too alcoholic for my palate, but the Apple & Cinnamon was pleasant and easy to swallow – definitely the one to try when you’re a novice to the flavoured sake world.
