Peaberry’s Espresso

Poached Chicken

This little sandwich joint makes some of the best gourmet sandwiches and salads around Darlinghurst. The sandwiches are freshly toasted filled generously with fresh ingredients. Topped with friendly service, healthy juices and damn good coffee. Just keep an eye out for the peak hour, eating in can take a while…

Gnocchi Boscaiola

Spaghetti Bolognese

This place oozes celebrity status. And the place isn’t fancy, nor is it expensive. This little restaurant is my all time favourite pasta place – it’s the home to the best and freshest gnocchi ever. My favourite is the gnocchi boscaiola with a side serving of herb bread. Don’t be hoping for a fancy decked out restaurant – expect; a wall full of star status signatures, a cheap feed, a flame here and there with the fresh food cooked in front of you… and hope for a seat.

Chicken schnitzel with herb mayo salad

My favourite hangover cure. I made friends with salad after eating the salads from this place. Every time I order this, I need to deconstruct it on my plate to figure what I want to devour first. Each salad is jam packed with lettuce, rocket, tomato, green beans, cucumber, celeriac coleslaw, red cabbage, orange vegetables (usually mashed carrot and pumpkin) and potato salad – then served with your meat of choice, my favourite – the chicken schnitzel with herb mayo.

Daily recommended serving of vegetables in one go. Done!
